Environmental, operational and ESG consulting

Everyday problems, sorted into priorities.

Purchasing, stock, waste, water and energy, the team’s routine: we look at your operation as it really is and help you decide what’s worth changing first.

Illustrative example, not a client

A neighbourhood bakery

Lots of weekend orders, leftover dough on Monday and purchasing done “by feel”. That’s where the review starts: what gets bought, what gets lost and who decides.

Who it’s for

For businesses that want to spend less and waste less — without turning into a different company.

Retail and food

Shops, bakeries, cake shops and restaurants that buy often and lose things nobody measures.

Production and farming

Small producers and farms that want to get a grip on inputs, water and energy.

Growing teams

Businesses where everything goes through the owner and the routine has no clear owners yet.

What we look at

Six areas of a review.

Purchasing

What gets bought, from whom, how often and on what basis.

Stock

How it’s tracked, where there’s too much and where there’s too little.

Waste

Lost inputs, product and packaging — and why it happens.

Resources

Water, energy and materials used day to day.

Routine

Schedules, bottlenecks and tasks repeated for no reason.

Responsibilities

Who does what, and who decides at each step.

How it works

From review to a plan with names on it.

1

Conversation

Understand the business and the problem that bothers you most.

2

Observation

Follow the routine and gather the data that already exists.

3

Priorities

Separate what’s urgent, what’s cheap and what pays back most.

4

Plan

Actions with owners, deadlines and simple indicators.

5

Follow-up

Measure again and adjust based on what actually happened.

No promises before we measure: we only talk about cutting costs or impact once we know your business’s numbers.

What you get

A plan that fits your routine.

No report that ends up in a drawer. The result is short, practical, with a name next to every action.

  • A written review of what we saw, in plain language.
  • A priority map: urgent, cheap and what pays back most.
  • An action plan with owners, deadlines and simple indicators.
  • A check-in after a while, to measure again and adjust.

Illustrative example of an indicator

“Kilos of dough thrown away per week”

One simple number, always noted the same way, is worth more than a spreadsheet nobody updates.

Frequently asked questions

What business owners usually ask.

Do I need organised data to start?

No. We start with what you have — receipts, notebooks, conversations with the team. Organising the data is part of the job.

Is it only for big companies?

No. The method was designed for small and mid-sized businesses, where every bit of waste hits the cash flow.

Do you award a seal or certification?

No. Carbomint is not a certification body. If your business needs a certification, we help you understand what it requires.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the business and the problem. In the first conversation we agree the scope and timeline in writing.
